Rivers Gym and Health Center Inc. is the oldest African American owned and operated facility of it's kind on the east coast. Rivers Gym has and continues to serve as home and roadstead for premier athletes nationally and internationally. Rivers Gym was established by Robert and Mary Rivers almost 27 years ago and has been the home of Rev. Dr. Richard Brown's Muscle Convention for at least 26 years. Under the current ownership of Rev Dr. Richard Brown III, Rivers Gym continues to serve Philadelphia in it's quest for physical excellence
